We are delighted to announce the Subsea UK Business Awards for 2010.

The judging panels will be nominated by the sponsors and include representation from last year's winners who were:

• Subsea Company of the Year - Subsea 7
• Emerging Talent - James Knipe, MCS
• The New Enterprise Award - flexlife
• Lifetime Achievement - Dave Brookes

The timeline is:

• 16th November - Launch Awards and nominations open and close on 7th December
• 7th December - Judging process begins
• 6th January - Judging completed
• 13th January - Announce shortlisted finalists
• 21/22nd January - Shortlisted finalists must make themselves available for filmed interviews to be carried out at the Innovation Centre, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. At this point in time the shortlisted finalists will also have the opportunity to submit company promotional footage for inclusion alongside the interviews. Best quality preferred and if tape it should be either DVCAM or BETACAM SP. The only other acceptable mediums would be full quality DVD or full sized (720 x 576), uncompressed or DV quicktime files. No small WMV or other PC playback files are useable. The ideal type of footage would be the unedited original footage, this allows more flexibility in the edit, but if not a pre-existing edited programme will be acceptable. The final material will have a professional "talk over".
